UBTECH Robotics is a Shenzhen, China–headquartered robotics and AI company that builds humanoid and service robots for consumer, commercial, and industrial settings. Its flagship “Walker” family targets human environments by combining whole-body motion, perception, and manipulation. UBTECH presents Walker as a service humanoid for household and office scenarios, capable of smooth walking and flexible handling. It also showcases Walker X as a more advanced platform with upgraded vision-based navigation and hand–eye coordination.
For factories, UBTECH has emphasised industrial humanoids such as Walker S, designed for precise, synchronized operations on assembly lines. The newer Walker S2 extends that roadmap with an autonomous hot-swappable battery system: it can monitor its own power and swap batteries autonomously in under three minutes, enabling 24/7 continuous operation intended for manufacturing and logistics environments.
In customer-facing deployments, UBTECH offers the CRUZR commercial service robot, which pairs autonomous navigation with voice and touchscreen interaction plus cloud services for reception, guidance, and information delivery. On the consumer side, Alpha Mini is a compact humanoid positioned for learning and entertainment, featuring voice interaction, expressive LCD “eyes,” and face/object recognition. UBTECH also supports STEM education through modular Jimu robot kits sold by retailers, enabling hands-on building and coding projects for students and hobbyists.
Looking ahead, UBTECH’s “future robots” are largely the next generations of Walker S/S2-class industrial humanoids and continued iterations of Walker-class service assistants, alongside ongoing updates to consumer companions like Alpha Mini, with more autonomy, dexterity, fleet management, and safety features, and broader deployment of multi-robot collaboration systems.
