Agility Robotics is a U.S. robotics company (originating from work at Oregon State University) focused on bipedal robots that can move through human-built spaces - doors, aisles, and mixed environments - without warehouses needing to be redesigned. Its core product is Digit, a bipedal mobile manipulation robot built “from the ground up” for logistics and material handling, with the goal of safely working alongside people in workflows already designed around humans.

Before Digit, Agility developed Cassie, a dynamic bipedal robot widely used as a research platform for walking and running; Cassie is also the design lineage that Digit builds on (adding a torso, arms, sensors, and more compute).

Currently available / deployed: Digit has moved beyond lab demos into commercial operations, including a robots-as-a-service deployment with GXO Logistics (after earlier pilots) where Digit performs repetitive tote-handling tasks in a real warehouse setting.

Agility has also publicly partnered with Amazon to test and advance Digit for fulfillment-centre work.

In late 2025, Agility highlighted a milestone commercial deployment where Digit moved 100,000+ totes, positioning that throughput as evidence of scalability and ROI potential.

What’s next (future robots / roadmap): Agility is scaling manufacturing via RoboFab, its purpose-built factory for humanoid robots. The company has stated that partner-program deliveries began in 2024, with broader market availability targeted for 2026, and it continues to expand Digit’s capabilities and software stack (including fleet/operations tooling) to unlock more warehouse tasks over time.
