Compact quadruped platform
Go2 is a smaller, lighter quadruped than Unitree’s larger industrial platforms. Unitree lists Go2 at approximately 15kg with battery, with standing dimensions of 70cm x 31cm x 40cm and crouching dimensions of 76cm x 31cm x 20cm.
4D LiDAR perception
Go2 features Unitree’s 4D LiDAR L2, which Unitree describes as offering 360° x 96° hemispherical ultra-wide recognition with a minimum detection distance as low as 0.05m. This makes Go2 useful for perception, mapping, navigation and robotics learning environments.
Multiple configurations
Go2 is available in Air, Pro, X and EDU configurations, with the EDU version intended for more advanced development and education-led requirements. Product capability and availability should be confirmed based on the selected configuration.
Developer and research potential
Go2 can support robotics education, AI development, navigation testing and motion-control research. Unitree references 3D LiDAR mapping, intelligent side-follow, OTA upgrades and app-based interaction as part of the Go2 platform.
Accessible route into quadruped robotics
Compared with larger industrial quadrupeds, Go2 gives organisations a lower-barrier way to explore quadruped robotics before moving into heavier-duty platforms. Unitree’s official shop lists Go2 variants, shipping ranges, customs responsibilities and EDU pricing by sales enquiry, so UK buyers should confirm total landed cost, support and configuration before committing.
